1 Insert Other Network SIM card into Huawei E3131 wifi mifi Router/ Modem

2 Power  on Huawei E3131 wifi device– wait until the device has completed it’s initialization

3 Make sure there is a connection between the Huawei E3131 wifi device and the client (eg computer)

4 Start an Internet browser and enter http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar. (The default password is admin).

5 Enter the password, and then click Login

6 Select Settings

7 Select Dialup and then Unlock SIM

8 Enter unlock code and then click Apply




Alternate Method 2 : Unlock Huawei E3131 wifi Directly


Do the The same steps from 1 to 5

6.  Enter  192.168.1.1/simlock.asp, Or http://192.168.1.1/simlock.asp

7. Now the Huawei E3131 wifi device looks like " Enter Unlock Code "

8.  Enter unlock code and then click Apply




Alternate Method 3:  Sun cellular Huawei E3131 wifi Device Unlock With Hyperterminal


1) open Hyperterminal : C:\Program Files\Windows NT (should be there)

2) you must set com port on modem (Huawei E3131 Mobile Connect - 3G Modem)

3) type following command : AT^CARDLOCK=""

4) Validate by pressing Enter.

Ex : Enter the   AT^CARDLOCK=" Huawei E3131 wifi Device Unlock code here"
